1. Over 表完結(jié)，結(jié)束；在…上方

sleepover 睡死過(guò)于了？睡過(guò)頭了？其實(shí)它的意思是在別人家過(guò)夜，留宿。

For example: Mary isgoing to sleep over on Friday nightat my place.

Come over過(guò)來(lái)，來(lái)訪

For example: Would youlike come over and join us atdinner?

Hang over除了常用的懸掛在…之上之外，還有逼近，威脅的意思

For example: I can’t gowith you, my final exam is hanging over me.

Hangover喝大，斷片兒，宿醉的意思

For example: James had aterrible hangover because he partiedtoo hard last night.

Go over 復(fù)習(xí)

For example: I got a quiztomorrow morning , and I’m gonna go overall the class notes tonight.

1. Drop本意落下

   drop by訪問(wèn)，拜訪

   For example: I dropped by Andy’s office yesterday anddiscussed about our new project.

   drop the class退課

   For example: The Physics403 is so damn hard for me, and I had to dropit and take the Chemistry instead.

   drop out of退（學(xué)）

   For example：A lot of celebrities dropped outof school when they were young and it turned out they become very successful.

   drop off把…放下來(lái)

   For example: Please drop me off at the school office so Ican drop off my graduation form.

   I need to drop off those mails before Christmas holiday at the post office.

2. 想要表達(dá)你討厭某人或某事，除了用I don’t like 和I hate 還可以用那些比較酷的表達(dá)呢？

   Be fed up with: 被喂的吃的太多了就會(huì)反胃或撐著了，也表示受夠了的意思。。

   For example: I’m totally fed up with working 10 hours a day.

   Be tired of/Be bored of/Be sick of同樣都表示厭倦了，受不了了的意思

   For example: Susan has been sick of her boyfriend playingvideo game and never talking to her.

   Susan’s boyfriend is tired of her complaining about himall the time.

   Susan’s friends are bored of listening her talkingabout her boyfriend’s problem.
